An Order of the Black Knights novel
Author: Thianna Durston
Special ops turned hitman Vespar McKauley is hired to take out Marcolm Rogers, son of his contract’s worst enemy. But Marc isn’t like any hit he’s ever done. He’s just twenty-one, he goes to a private university studying English Lit, and for fun he plays computer games with his friends. No drugs, no partying, no crime. The day he bumps into Marc and looks into his azure eyes, the world drops out from under him.
With his father in the Chicago crime syndicate, Marc and his mom have stayed out of the limelight, hiding from those who might harm them. He figures he’s safe at a small liberal arts university all the way across the country. But midway through his senior year, he feels eyes on him and the shadows encroaching. Just as he’s about to run, he meets Vespar and experiences an instant attraction. When Vespar tells him he’s in danger and offers to protect him, Marc wants to believe him. But he’s been hunted before, and this time he isn’t sure he’ll get away. Especially when he finds out he is Vespar’s target.
Every century has seen its knights. But there are those that are never seen. They do what must be done, what has to be done – the jobs where nobody wants to get their hands dirty. They are called the Order of the Black Knights. First created in the 1100s, these men seem cold and hard, and of some, it is said they have no soul. If the Knight pardons a specific enemy, he will no longer be cursed. If not, he will continue to live the same life again and again, and each life will make him harder and more unyielding, ensuring it is less likely that he can be saved.
The second book in Thianna Durston’s Men of Falcon Pointe series will be out on February 20, 2020. We’re pleased to show you the fantastic cover for it. PreOrder it today.

In the past, 99% of our books have been in the romance genre. While we appreciate the genre and know there are a lot of romance fans out there, that will not be our main focus from 2020 onward. While we will still publish a few romance novels, we’re shifting to a focus we feel strongly about and don’t see nearly enough of: non-romance genre fiction where the leads are strong protagonists on the LGBTQ+ spectrum.
There are millions of romance publishers out there and we feel they are doing a fantastic job of filling the shelves with romance books.
We’re changing to something we have been talking about for years. It’s time that books with LGBTQ+ protagonists are out there in a non-romance aspect. They have been, so some extent, in Sci-Fi for decades, but we want to focus on LGBTQ+ in several genres without a romance emphasis. Thrillers? Yes! Suspense? Definitely. Mysteries? You betcha. Urban Fantasy? We so look forward to UF without romance.
To go along with our focused direction, our hedgehog extraordinary (Don’t tell xem we said that) has created a new logo for ATT Press. Welcome to a more streamlined ATT Press.
ATT Press has used the personal blog of our top dog since its inception. However, now we feel the need to separate business from personal stuff. So, from here out, all ATT Press official posts will be from the ATT Press blog. T will do xys book and personal posts on blog.thiannad.com.
Welcome to a whole new world. Well, a newish world anyway.
